Taylor Bank pledges $10,000 to Cape Charles Rosenwald School


CAPE CHARLES, VA (October 22, 2025) – Taylor Bank has pledged $10,000 to the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Restoration Initiative (CCRSRI) to support the Impact Center, a vibrant community hub where the Eastern Shore community gathers to learn, play and prosper. The donation will help launch relevant, purposeful and innovative community programs in Cape Charles, Virginia. The Impact Center features a classroom space for lectures, and training. One of the users of this space is the Eastern Shore Community College who will provide a convenient location to Lower Shore residents.  The space is equipped with state-of-the-art two-way video, workforce training facilities, business incubator space, a commercial kitchen, and flexible meeting and event areas that provide and an opportunity to tell the history of the school and other topics through exhibits. The rehabilitated school will serve as a vital resource for partnerships, lifelong learning, and economic opportunity, addressing critical needs on the Eastern Shore.
