Since our founding in 1890, Taylor Bank has worked passionately to make our community a better place by supporting outstanding community initiatives through financial contributions and employee volunteers.
Calvin B. Taylor Memorial Scholarship
The Calvin B. Taylor Memorial Scholarship awards four $2,000 scholarships to local students pursuing a 2 or 4-year degree. One scholarship is awarded to a student from each of the following counties: the Indian River School District of Sussex County, Delaware, Worcester County, Maryland, Accomack County, Virginia, and Northampton County, Virginia.

The For Good Fund
Funded solely through contributions from Taylor Bank, The For Good Fund is available to nonprofit organizations helping to address needs in our communities in the areas of neighborhood development, workforce development and education, and basic human services. A portion of all For Good Checking Debit Card transactions are included in the Bank's contributions to support The For Good Fund.
Applications will be accepted for the 2026 grant cycle on April 1, 2026 through June 1, 2026.
Taylor Bank is always open to requests to sponsor activities, organizations, programs, and events that support our community. We accept requests on a rolling basis throughout the year. Examples of organizations we support include youth sports, educational programs, town celebrations, community events, local chambers, and other initiatives that strengthen the communities we serve. Requests for donations or sponsorships should be submitted through our online Community Support & Sponsorships application.
