Taylor Bank Opens Applications for 2026 For Good Fund Grants

BERLIN, MD (April 21, 2026) – Taylor Bank, Member FDIC and Equal Housing Lender, announced today that it is now accepting applications for its 2026 For Good Fund grants, which support nonprofit organizations serving communities across the bank’s footprint. This program is designed to support organizations that provide community development services and activities that benefit low‑ and moderate‑income (LMI) individuals and communities.

Launched in 2023, the For Good Fund is powered by Taylor Bank’s For Good Checking Account. A portion of every debit card transaction made by For Good Checking account holders is directed by Taylor Bank to the fund and awarded annually to nonprofit organizations that strengthen and enhance local communities. Funding priority will be given to organizations that deliver financial or financial‑related community development services. Approximately $15,000 will be distributed during the 2026 grant cycle, with individual grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

“Celebrating its third year, the For Good Fund continues to be a meaningful expression of Taylor Bank’s dedication to strengthening our communities,” said Peyton Goslee, Market Branch Manager & Relationship Officer, and Chair of Taylor Bank’s Giving Committee. “Together with our broader giving and scholarship efforts, this fund gives us the opportunity to invest directly in inspiring initiatives that create lasting impact for the people and places we’re proud to serve.”

Grant funding supports three key community needs:
  • Basic Human Services – Programs that help individuals and families access food, safe housing, fuel assistance, and other essential services while supporting long-term economic stability
  • Workforce Development & Education – Initiatives that promote financial literacy, job training, and educational opportunities, with an emphasis on youth and economically disadvantaged populations
  • Neighborhood Development – Efforts that support affordable housing, homeowner assistance, community revitalization, and neighborhood stability
To be eligible, applicants must be nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) and in good standing. Organizations must actively serve communities within Taylor Bank’s assessment areas, including Sussex County, Delaware; Worcester County, Maryland; and Accomack and Northampton counties in Virginia. Applicants must also demonstrate alignment with at least one of the For Good Fund’s key community needs.

Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply by June 1, 2026, to be considered for a 2026 For Good Fund grant.
